Construction and operation

The Maxi System is controlled by a chain at the top and bottom. Safety belts are mounted to the top axle across the entire length of the system, retracting the fabric smoothly.The two patented spring elements located to the left and right in the fabric’s bottom tube ensure that the fabric remains taut during movement.The curtain wall therefore remains highly wind-resistant at all times.The air intake is at the top, contributing to optimal barn ventilation. 

The system is mounted to the existing structure in its entirety, requiring only 20 cm at the top and 35 cm at the bottom.

Controls

The curtain wall may be operated using a manual remote or a motor.Optionally, you can connect a climate computer. 

Safety

We attach great importance to safety when using our systems. That is why a climate computer can only be connected if the system is higher than 2,70 m from the ground. If it is not the case, you can choose to install bird netting in front of the system. If a system is automated, for instance when using a remote control or a weather computer, it is safer to place windbreak netting in front of the rotating roll. This way, the chance of accidents is minimal.

Fabric: wide range of colours per windbreak factor

May absolutely no rain or wind penetrate the windbreak net? Or do you prefer a more breathable fabric? We weld everything completely to order in our factory, allowing us to combine various types of windbreak mesh and tarpaulin. The bird mesh is also available in various windbreak factors. We strive to find the best solution for every project and application! 

Our windbreak nets are available in multiple colours per windbreak factor, all fire retardant (flammability class M2). 

Extra windbreak net

The Maxi system heavy is also available with an extra windbreak net. The extra windbreak net is fixed to an aluminium frame and mounted in front of the curtain wall. Thanks to this mesh, birds stay outside. If the system has been automated, for example with a remote control or climate computer, the bird mesh provides extra safety. Children no longer have access to the revolving reel, minimising the risk of accidents. As the bird mesh is installed on the outside of the opening, rain will clean the mesh naturally.

The system is mounted to the existing structure in its entirety, requiring only 25 cm at the top and 40 cm at the bottom.
