Construction and operation

The system rolls up from bottom to top, so that the air intake takes place at the bottom. The system rolls up over its entire length by means of a cardan shaft. The system is often used in pig and poultry stables. Because of the polyvalent character of the system, it can also be applied in many other situations. 

The system is mounted to the existing structure in its entirety, requiring only 10cm at the top and 20cm at the bottom. 

Controls

Depending on preference, the Poly System can be operated manually (crank) or motorised. Optionally, you can connect a climate computer

Fabric: wide range of colours per windbreak factor

May absolutely no rain or wind penetrate the windbreak net? Or do you prefer a more breathable fabric? We weld everything completely to order in our factory, allowing us to combine various types of windbreak mesh and tarpaulin. We strive to find the best solution for every project and application! 

Our windbreak nets are available in multiple colours per windbreak factor, all fire retardant (flammability class M2).

Safety

We attach great importance to safety when using our systems. That is why a climate computer can only be connected if the system is higher than 2,70 m from the ground. If it is not the case, you can choose to install bird netting in front of the system. If a system is automated, for instance when using a remote control or a weather computer, it is safer to place windbreak netting in front of the rotating roll. This way, the chance of accidents is minimal.

Extra windbreak net

The Polysystem is also available with an extra windbreak net. The extra windbreak net is fixed to an aluminium frame and mounted in front of the curtain wall. Thanks to this mesh, birds stay outside. If the system has been automated, for example with a remote control or climate computer, the bird mesh provides extra safety. Children no longer have access to the revolving reel, minimizing the risk of accidents. As the bird mesh is installed on the outside of the opening, rain will clean the mesh naturally.
